Wendy Rule is from Melbourne Australia, who started off as a jazz singer. Today she is a Witch, singer and songwriter amongst many other things. Wendy Rule is as talented as she is beautiful. Her singing voice and style is unparrallelled. Wendy Rule takes you on a spiritual journey of soul searching in one song and in the next song is relating her experience with love in another. She is able to reach down and sing out her heart and in the next breath Wendy can melow out to bring you back to serenity.
Wendy Rule starts her concerts by casting a circle. At the two shows I seen her at in 2001 (New Haven CT and Salem Mass) she did not repeat the songs in the same order. Plus she performed some songs at one location and not the other. Wendy's ability to draw on mythology in her song writing is splendid. Wendy Rule's is a must for all who enjoy Pagan/Wiccan music. Or if you like Enya or Loreena McKennitt then you should enjoy the unparalleled talents of Wendy Rule.
